Climate Emergency

As a member of Moonee Valley Sustainability, Rose has been working hard to try to persuade Moonee Valley Council to invest more funding towards actions that reduce community greenhouse emissions in Moonee Valley.

MVS presented a submission to Council for the 2020/21 Budget to try to increase the $65,000 allocated towards Climate Change.

An additional $30,000 was added to the budget. However, the 2020/21 budget did not invest sufficient funds to address the climate change emergency we face.
